– Key Executive Role
estara is a leading provider of in-home, community and specialised disability support services in South Australia. Formerly known as PQSA and HomeCare+, estara has over 60 years of experience in supporting people with spinal cord injuries and disabilities.
With over 700 employees, estara services metropolitan Adelaide from its headquarters in Dulwich and has five regional offices in the South-East, Mid-North, Eyre Peninsula, Yorke Peninsula and the Riverland.
Reporting to the Chief Executive and as a key member of the Executive Management Team, this pivotal role will be responsible for leading client service delivery and staff engagement across Specialised Disability Support and In-Home and Community Support.
Key performance areas include, but are not limited to:
- Optimising estara’s operational capacity to ensure premium quality service delivery that meets the needs of people living with spinal cord injury and disabilities.
- Identifying opportunities for sustainable growth and organisational expansion through sector transformation including the development of key external relationships.
- Providing high level leadership and support of divisional leaders to effectively coordinate broad operations and to deliver organisational-wide communication and engagement with staff.
- Leading adjustments to operations in response to sector change and coordinating systemic responses to critical incidents and operational risks.
The successful candidate will demonstrate a proven track record of effective operational leadership within the Disability sector and possess a strong understanding and knowledge of the NDIS, the Quality and Safeguards Commission framework and related quality and compliance indicators.
You will have a supportive leadership style, be strategically and commercially astute and be able to effectively oversee and deliver quality service delivery and related projects.
Highly developed and influential communication skills with an ability to effectively collaborate across functional and organisational boundaries with a diverse range of people whilst also maintaining a high level of customer service are vital in this role.
Relevant tertiary qualifications in a human services or a related discipline are also a requirement for this position.
